The Farmhouse

In the heart of the Lucca hills, on a gentle slope that from the Pizzorne mountains descends toward the plains of Lucca, extend the seven hectares of the Fattoria Camigliano vineyards.
Historically, the land belonged to the Guinigi family, which the logo of the Farm is reminiscent of with the face of Paolo Guinigi, Lord of Lucca between 1400 and 1430.

Composed of two adjoining apartments: Cantina and Coppaia, the farmhouse overlooks a lush waste of vineyards and olive trees and is provided with any type of comfort while preserving the charm featuring the classic Tuscany country houses.
Away from the noise of the city, deep into the nature, you will enjoy moments of utter peace and relax with every type of comfort thought to make your stay unforgettable.

The winery

The current winery was founded in 2013 by the meeting between the current owners and Cipriano Barsanti, expert in the field of oenology and biodynamic agriculture.
The vineyards of the Camigliano farm are cultivated according to the methods of biodynamic agriculture and thus in the most rigorous respect for the environment, using only the techniques and preparations suggested by the biodynamic method. The farm is currently certified as an organic company by ICEA, the institute for ethical and environmental certification.

The grapes are selected with the utmost care by expert hands and skilfully processed with techniques that combine modernity and tradition.
The vinifications of white and red wines are the result of a fermentation made thanks to the use of local yeasts. No additive or oenological adjuvant is used during vinification and aging, except for small additions of sulphur dioxide. Both white and red wines are bottled without clarification or filtrations.
